Selena Gomez e atores de “13 Reasons Why” fazem tatuagem igual com a mensagem da série

Selena Gomez decidiu gravar na pele a mensagem por trás de “13 Reasons Why”, série que ela produziu junto com a Netflix. A cantora mostrou o desenho escolhido por ela e pelos atores Alisha Boe (Jessica) e Tommy Dorfman (Ryan) através do Instagram.

O trio tatuou um ponto e vírgula (;) que simboliza a conscientização da saúde mental e prevenção ao suicídio, assuntos abordados na série. O símbolo foi tatuado no pulso de cada um no último domingo (09), em Los Angeles.

Pelo Instagram, Tommy falou sobre seus momentos difíceis e como o “;” representa “um novo capítulo em nossas vidas”. 

“Tive problemas com vicio e depressão ao longo do colegial e faculdade. Eu procurei ajuda. Na época, pensei que minha vida tinha acabado, achei que nunca passaria dos 21 anos. Hoje estou feliz por estar vivo nesse novo capitulo de recuperação da minha vida”, contou.

Today was a magical day. Another day to be grateful to be alive. Alisha, Selena, and I went together to get ; tattoos. The ; symbol stands for an end of one thought and a beginning of another. Instead of a period, authors use the semicolon to continue a sentence. For us, it means a beginning of another chapter in life, in lieu of ending your life. I struggled with addiction and depression issues through high school and early college. I reached out and asked for help. At the time, I thought my life was over, I thought I’d never live past the age of 21. Today I’m grateful to be alive, in this new chapter of life in recovery, standing with my colleagues and friends, making art that helps other people.
