Globo de Ouro: mulheres que não usaram preto explicam motivos

Como já era esperado, o Globo de Ouro 2018 foi dominado pelos trajes na cor preta como forma de protesto contra os assédios e abusos sexuais em Hollywood. Ainda assim, 3 mulheres não aderiram à iniciativa: Meher Tatna, presidente da Associação de Imprensa Estrangeira de Hollywood (responsável pela premiação), e as atrizes Blanca Blanco e Bárbara Meier.

Os looks das três chamaram a atenção durante o evento e elas resolveram explicar porque optaram por não usar preto. A presidente da HFPA manteve o vestido vermelho por razões culturais. “Minha mãe e eu planejamos isso juntas há alguns meses, é uma coisa cultural. Quando você celebra uma festa, você não usa preto”, disse ao Entertainment Tonight ao explicar que apesar da cor, ela usava o broche em apoio ao movimento “Time’s Up”.

A californiana Blanca Blanco foi ao Twitter para responder às críticas por não ter adotado o protesto. “O problema é maior do que a cor do meu vestido. #TimesUp”, disse apenas.

Já a modelo e atriz alemã Bárbara Meier antecipou as críticas que poderia receber e justificou a escolha do vestido antes de ir à premiação. “Se queremos que este seja o Globo de Ouro das mulheres fortes que defendem seus direitos, acredito que seja o caminho errado deixar de usar uma roupa sexy ou deixar as pessoas tirarem nossa alegria de mostrar nossa personalidade através da moda. Lutamos por muito tempo pela liberdade de vestir o que queremos. Se agora restringirmos isso, porque alguns homens não conseguem se controlar, este é um grande passo atrás na minha opinião. Não devemos usar o preto para ser levadas a sério”, escreveu.

Trotzdem habe ich mich entscheiden, heute ein buntes Kleid zu tragen. Wir haben uns diese Freiheit lange erkämpft, dass wir tragen können, was wir möchten und es auch in Ordnung ist, sich sexy zu kleiden. Wenn wir das einschränken, weil sich einige Männer nicht unter Kontrolle haben, ist das in meinen Augen ein Rückschritt. Wir sollten nicht schwarz tragen müssen, um ernstgenommen zu werden. Wir Frauen sollten strahlen, farbenfroh sein und funkeln. So wie es in unserer Natur liegt! Das symbolisiert in meinen Augen unsere Freiheit und neue Stärke. Um das aber dennoch nochmal klar zu sagen: Viele schreckliche Dinge sind passiert und dürfen sich nie wieder wiederholen! Und wir sollten das immer wieder und direkt ansprechen und aufklären!
