Brazil agribusiness reports $7.48 bi surplus in August

The balance sheet for Brazil’s agribusiness closed out August with a surplus of  $7.48 billion. Sales to other countries totaled $8.89 billion, whereas purchases cost $1.41 billion. Figures were released on Tuesday (Sep 9) by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply.
