Gov't creates system for reporting environmental accidents

The Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama) has created the National System of Environmental Emergencies, or Siema, equipped with interactive maps and an IT communication tool for reporting environmental accidents. The system is also capable of generating statistical data on  accidents already registered by the institute.
