Rousseff and Silva leading presidential race, survey shows
A poll whose results were released on Wednesday (Sep 10) shows Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff (of the Workers’ Party, “PT”), who aims to be re-elected, with 36% of voter support, and candidate Marina Silva (of the Brazilian Socialist Party, “PSB”), with 33%. As for the third place, Aécio Neves (a member of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party, “PSDB”), shows 15%. The eight remaining competitors running for presidency were seen with 1% or less.
